Mandy moves on

Since Mihir Mishra is out, Kabhie Haan Kabhie Naa will see three new characters being introduced in the story line starting Monday. Gaurav Chopra, Muskan and Dimple Inamdar join the star cast of the daily soap. Muskan who plays Sanjana will be seen playing a role in stark contrast to her conservative Punju look in Sony’s Yeh Meri Life Hai. In Yeh... Muskan who plays Mandy wears only salwar kameezes and is dressed demurely. In Kabhi... Muskan who’s tired of her behenji look happily sports revealing and slick outfits. Now, that’s a big leap... or is it?

Ashmit Malhotra

Ashmit Malhotra, played by Rahil Azam, is a young and suave business tycoon. A person who knows how to enjoy life to the fullest, he decides to invest in the film industry as his next business venture. He is the owner of the lavish Global Films production house. Ashmit ends up giving Pooja a chance to direct a film and in the meantime, ends up marrying her. He first saw her sleeping on a park bench and was immediately besotted by her beauty. Later on, she impressed him with her talent and charm.

Azam who acted in the TV serials Kahin Kisi Roz, Bhabhi, Achanak, Saintis Saal Baad, has also been seen in the Hatimtai, directed by Ramanand Sagar. Basically, he is a software engineer from Bangalore. In his childhood he dreamt of making a career in acting. Azam has also appeared on the Sony thriller 'C.I.D.'. Interestingly, 'Karan Arjun' was the first show Azam shot for, about five years ago. Unfortunately the show never saw the light of day.
