Ronit gets 25 crore rupees - Inder and Ashmit meet

Here is the first update of the week.

There are two new characters introduced today. One is Vicky (forgot his name, a prominent Gujarati theatre person), supposedly Maya's brother who is wicked as Maya and who was the one who gave idea to Maya about the Sumitra thing she planned with Mohan. The other is Shekhar (remember Master Raju - he's grown up), known to Ronit and Reema and to whom Ronit goes to get his work done.

Pooja is excited that Inder has told her that he'll speak to Maya about Ashmit and that he is Sumitra's and his son. She is at home when Ashmit comes in. Pooja informs Ashmit that Inder is soon going to accept everything - Ashmit tells him he was not very sure. Pooja asks him to trust her and that good days will come soon. Inder has realise his mistake and decides that he has to tell Maya everything about this. He goes and tells Maya - Maya acts that how can it be true. Later she speaks to her brother Vicky. He suggests her to accept Sumitra and Ashmit at his house now and infact be sweet to Inder and Dadi and act as if she wants Sumitra to come and stay in her house. Maya exactly does this. She cries and acts and tells Dadi and Inder that she understands that Sumitra key sate nainsaafi huyi hai and she wants her and Ashmit to come back here and give her a proper status and wants all of them to stay together. Inder and Dadi could not believe this - well, actually happiness or sadness is not seen on Inder's face - blame it on his acting.

Maya calls up Pooja in front of them and tells her that she has realised her mistake and wants Sumitra, Ashmit and her to come and stay together. She was willing to ask for forgiveness from Sumitra and make Ashmit the chirag of the Gujral family. Pooja could not believe as well and asks her to be calm. Dadi and Inder are overjoyed.

Ronit is trying hard to get the money to give it to Ashmit to get back the Gujral House. Reema and he are sitting in a restaurant. Reema tells him that it is almost impossible to get such a huge amount in such a short notice. Ronit does not want to give up. Just when they were leaving, they heard about a guy called Shekhar whose fiber optics company was having some trouble. Ronit recollects saying that he knows Shekhar and since he has already done a project on fiber optics, Shekhar might be able to help them. Ronit and Reema go to meet Shekhar.

Shekhar tells them that he is on the verge of losing a deal with his foreign collaborators of Rs 25,000 crore. Wow! Big deal hai. Ronit tells him that he can talk to his collaborators since he has already done a project report on fiber optics and even given a presentation to one of his financiers. He says that he is confident of getting back the deal - but says that he would want Rs 25 crore for that. Shekhar things for a moment and agrees. Ronit gives the presentation and succeeds. Shekhar is impressed and gives him a cheque of Rs. 25 crores. Fast, I should say. Ronit thinks that he'll now throw this cheque on Ashmit's face and ask him to give the Gujral House back to them.

Meanwhile, Inder has thought of meeting Ashmit and Sumitra and ask for forgiveness. Pooja tells Ashmit that Inder would want to meet them. Ashmit thinks that this might be another chaal - Pooja calls Maya and tells her that they have to find Mohan to make sure Ashmit believes Inder. Maya acts smart and tells her that finding out Mohan would mean not trusting Sumitra again and Ashmit might not like that. It's better that they both work on making Inder and Ashmit meet. Pooja agrees and asks Ashmit to meet Inder Gujral. Inder Gujral and Ashmit meets. Ashmit tells him that he would have to accept Sumitra as his wife, apply sindoor on her head and give her the status as his wife in the society. If he does all this then Ashmit can be his son. Inder agrees everything. Ashmit tells him that Maya and Dadi would have to come as well to make sure what Inder is saying is correct. Inder agrees to do that as well and promises that he, Maya and Dadi will be there at the hospital before the sun sets today. Ashmit wants to confirm what he says and asks him whether he really means that. Inder says Yes. Ashmit tells him that he'll wait till the sun sets and if Inder Gujral does not come in by that time, he will think that he has cheated his mom the second time. Inder Gujral leaves. The episode ends.

What next? Do you think Ronit would come in at the right time with the cheque and Maya would know that he's got the money? If this happens, she might say 'NO' to Inder Gujral for getting Sumitra in and even coming with him to the hospital. Phir Kya? Will Ashmit wait in the hospital after the sun sets?
