'Operation Sumitra' executed by Mohan and Madam Maya

Maya Memsaab. Magical Maya. Mystical Maya, Money Minded Maya. Miscreant Maya. Mischief Maker Maya or Mother Maya. Take your pick after you know the truth about who's behind the Inder Sumitra Episode (ISE). Guess kar liya na.. yes it is Maya.

Pooja does not speak anything which makes Ashmit tell her that he is not sure what her silence means. Pooja tells him that he had told her that he does not expect Pooja's reply. Ashmit replies back saying 'Yes' and at the same time tells her that irrespective of what Pooja thinks, he will move ahead with his plans.

At Gujral House, Maya has the kangan in her hands and thinking how she had waited to get this for years. She recollected how she had thought about this the first time she had met Sumitra. We see flashes of Young Maya, Sumitra and Inder and well even the dadi. Maya is in mini skirts when she came to Gujral House and asked who Sumitra was. She replied saying that Inder had got her here to make her meet his mother. Maya taunts her and says she knows about how ppl plan to get Inder Gujral. Sumitra replies that love is not planned and they are in love. Just then, Dadi comes in and Maya leaves away before she arrives. Inder is with Dadi and he introduces her as Dadi's bahu. Dadi is happy to see her and removes the khandani kangan from her hands and gives it to her saying that it has been a tradition that these kangans are worn by the elder bahu of the family. Maya sees this and decides that she had to act fast before Inder slips out of her hand.

She meets Mohan, Inder's secretary. She tells him that he will get lots of money if he does what Maya tells her to. Mohan agrees. Maya plans to destroy Sumitra - she tells Mohan to call her at a hotel on the pretext of listening to a script or something and then add some sleep inducing agent in her drink. Maya adds that this has not to be told to Inder and he should never know about this. [Ok, here is where she lefts some footprints behind and Mohanji will have to come in the serial sometime to prove Inder's innocence.] Mohan does everything as he has been told and the next day morning almost all newspapers have photos of Sumitra and Mohan on a bed in a hotel room. Inder is aghast. He tries to kill himself with a gun when Dadi sees him. She stops him and Inder tells her how much he loved Sumitra. Maya hits on the dot. Later, she goes and meets Dadi telling her that Sumitra never looked as if she could do something like this. Dadi is upset and tells Maya that everyone in the society is talking about this and Inder is very very upset. Maya suggests Dadi to start looking for someone for Inder - and at the same time Maya suggests that it could be her as well. Dadi agrees but is not sure about Inder. Maya goes and meets Inder and shows that she loves him - Inder eventually gives in and asks if she would marry him, Maya got what she wanted. She married Inder.

Pooja meets Rasikbhai at the temple. Pooja tells Rasikbhai the story and that Ronit and Ashmit are step brothers. She asks for his advice and says she is confused. Rasikbhai advises her to just support the truth - not persons. Pooja samaj jaati hai.

Meanwhile, Ashmit is hurrying up his plans to buy out Gujral House. Ronit comes to know about this and tells Inder and Dadi about it. At the same time Ronit tells them not to worry and he will do everything that is necessary. Dadi tells him not to anything wrong - Ronit tells her that 'In a war, only winning matters. And if you win, everything comes in place, and if you lose, then you don't deserve to be in the war.'

Pooja gets her answers and goes to the hospital. She applies tilak on her forehead and takes her aashirwaad. She tells her that she will follow her path - what she taught Ashmit. The path to truth, the path to love everyone making sure that love wins over everything. Pooja thinks that she will not allow Gujral house to get destroyed and at the same time, she vows that she will fulfill all her pati-dharm as well. Episode Ends.
